How far along? 21 Weeks! 19 more to go
The baby is as big as: a spaghetti squash
Maternity clothes? Yes. I think I am going to need to buy a few more tops than I have. It looks like winter is going to stay around these parts and I only have 3 long sleeve maternity tops. No Buenos
Stretch marks?nothing new.
How I am feeling: Still fighting a cold/congestion/sinus pressure. I also threw up 3 times this week which was a total bummer. I think it is because I have so much sinus drainage... or it's just because I am pregnant.
Best moment this week?: I have my anatomy scan today, and I am excited and nervous. I am excited because I get to look at my little girl for 45 minutes and make sure she is A-Ok. But I am nervous that they are going to say something is up or that she is in fact a boy. I had a dream that happened, I went in for another ultrasound and they were like "have you chosen a name?" and we told them yes and they were like "that's a strange name for a boy..."
Movement?: Holy crapballs! I am convinced she is highland dancing in there! I actually was laying in bed when I felt some movement and put my hand on my belly and she HIGH YA-ED it and I called my husband up and she stopped... He did eventually feel her a few days later. She is more active during the day and then around 10-11ish at night.
Food cravings?: Apple pie this week. I didn't eat any though, I thought it quite dangerous to buy an entire pie for a single craving.
Gender?: GIRL!
Labor Signs?: nope
Belly Button in or out?:innie
What I miss: Being able to meal plan, I really have to be feeling what I am eating to actually eat it. I have a deep love for food and it breaks my heart that right now most food still sounds gross.
What I am looking forward to: getting stuff done around the house. We are gearing up to tackle our to do list before the baby shower which is in June 8th .
Weekly Wisdom: I am starting to imagine, or day dream you could say, about what going in to labor will be like. My mom had relatively quick labors even though one resulted in a c-section. She was only in labor with me for 3 hours and I was a vbac, and I can hope and dream that I am that lucky. Will I be induced? Will I be able to go naturally like I want too? Will I end up having a c-section? I like to play all the scenarios, it kind of mentally prepares me for everything and I can sort out some feelings before hand. I have always done this, ever since I was little.
Milestones: Little girl getting more active.
